The world is full of self-proclaimed ‘gurus’, experts, and talking heads. They pop up daily on television and radio, on the Internet, at conferences, in trade magazines, and even in hometown newspapers. Some are well-known due to their success with high-profile clients, some write books, while others are merely “famous for being famous” – people adept at the art of self-promotion.
Training that Sticks
I was happy to be part of the hotel makeover project and work with the Four Points by Sheraton in Biloxi. In doing research about the hotel, I went to their website prior to my training session. This hotel is right on the Gulf of Mexico! What struck me right away is that when you walk in the front door, you can look straight through the lobby to the Gulf.
